MAC Mocha! Ah where do I even start! It’s a beautiful peachy-coral tone lipstick and one of the first few coral-y shade lipsticks I ever bought.
MAC LIPSTICK DEL RIO SKIN
It would be suitable for many skin tones, coming off as a gorgeous nude shade for darker skin tones and a peachy brown shade for the lighter skin tones.
Yay to that! This shade wore well on me for at least 5 to 6 hours before I had to retouch it. Therefore this is a matte shade that actually glides on when you apply the lipstick. It is matte finish and has a wonderful velvety consistency to it. It is quite similar to MAC Taupe I guess, just that MAC Persistence has more browns in it. MAC Persistence is described as a Peachy Cinnamon shade. However everyone has different tastes and preferences 🙂 So if you are all about the nude shades, go ahead and try this gorgeous shade on at the MAC counter! Who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised too! 😉
MAC LIPSTICK DEL RIO PLUS
It is the most lightest nude shade I ever had on my lips before and it was just LOVE at first sight when I tried it on! Such a gorgeous, gorgeous shade! ❤ Being a Satin finish, it is indeed very comfortable to wear! Plus did I forget to mention how long lasting this shade is! Personally, although it is such a pretty nude shade, I find that it will better suit Fair to Medium Skin tones and may look washed out on Dusky Skin tones beauties. MAC Spirit is described as a muted Pinky-Beige Brown colour. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on for the first time. MAC Taupe definitely makes a great everyday shade and it lasts long on me even after eating and drinking! I find that it is totally an underrated colour as I am pretty sure it would really be flattering on many skin tones! Although it is a matte formula, it is not as drying as some other matte shades from MAC. I am not sure why it’s not a very popular colour among MAC lipsticks or rather why there’s not much hype about it. Probably it may even pass off as an Earthy Brick Red colour on fairer skin tones. MAC Taupe was one of the first few nude shades I brought from MAC.
